Set the band switch (for inductance) and then rotate the two controls to minimize reflected power. ![]() The knobs are big and brawny, making it easy to operate. The matching size to the Alinco radio makes it perfect for a grab-n-go type kit. Compact size makes it ideal for mobile/portable/field operation. It does not have a built in balun for random wire/ladder line, but is ideal for most coaxial fed antennas such as dipoles, mobile whips, G5RV etc. It's a well constructed tuner that tunes 160-10 meters. When you do run across one, grab it because it's a real gem. It's not a very common accessory, but available if you look. Physically it matches the DX70T/TH radio in both case/chassis/knob size and appearance.
